Jonathan Fitzpatrick joined Driven Brands as President and CEO in July of 2012. The parent company of North America’s leading automotive aftermarket brands, Driven Brands holds four distinct verticals - Repair & Maintenance, Paint & Collision, Distribution, and Quick Lube - which house iconic brands including Meineke Car Care Centers, Maaco®, 1-800-Radiator & A/C and Take 5 Oil Change respectively. With more than 2,700 centers located throughout North America, the businesses generate a combined $2.6 billion in system sales. Prior to Driven, he served As Executive Vice President, Chief Brand & Operations Officer at Burger King under 3G Capital ownership. Fitzpatrick led a whirlwind of activity including the biggest equipment and menu overhaul in the brand’s history, the development of new operational tools, and notable unit expansion that impacted operating and financial performance at the fast-food franchising giant in 2011.
He has held a variety of senior executive positions within Burger King covering a wide array of responsibilities ranging from head of European Operations and Senior Vice President of Franchise Development in North America to Vice President of Information Technology. Prior to Burger King, Fitzpatrick was President and Chief Operations Officer of Texas Digital Systems; he began his career in Dublin and London working for Diageo Plc – the world’s largest premium drinks business. Fitzpatrick was born and raised in Dublin Ireland and holds both his Bachelor's and Graduate degrees from the University College Dublin, Ireland.
Noah Pollack is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Driven Brands, Inc. Pollack oversees Legal, HR and Customer Services functions for the company. He joined Driven Brands in August 2012 as Jonathan Fitzpatricks’s first addition to the new Executive Team. Prior to joining the company, Pollack was General Counsel of Del Frisco's, Lone Star Steak House, International House of Pancakes (IHOP) as well as practicing law with firms in Miami and Dallas. Pollack is an ’88 graduate of Middlebury College, and a ’93 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.
Jon Gaiman serves as the Chief Development Officer for Driven Brands, responsible for the growth of our portfolio of automotive aftermarket brands. A seasoned development executive, Gaiman brings a wealth of experience in franchise sales, real estate, construction, and design. His leadership and ability to develop high-performing teams led to tremendous growth for national brands such as Starbucks and Dunkin Brands. He excels in working alongside brand leaders to develop shared goals and action plans that drive long-term growth.
Prior to Driven Brands, Gaiman led the successful expansion of 3,000 stores for Dunkin Brands, growing the brand’s footprint in western U.S. markets. While at Starbucks, he was the catalyst of the brand’s expansion from primarily West Coast territories to a strong East Coast presence. He is a proven development leader with impressive track record of success.
A native New Yorker, Gaiman received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from SUNY at Fredonia.
Blair Boggs joined Driven Brands as Chief Marketing Officer in February of 2018. He joins the team after 15 years at Valvoline, where he held a variety of senior marketing and General Manager roles ranging from the marketing leader on Valvoline Instant Oil Change to General Manager positions for Valvoline Europe and the Valvoline DIY business unit.
Prior to Valvoline, Boggs spent eight years in the consumer packaged goods industry; six years in Brand Management with Kraft Foods and two years with General Mills in Accounting and Finance.
A 1991 graduate of Indiana University, Boggs earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Active in the community, Boggs has held numerous board positions, including serving on the boards of Commerce Lexington and the Bluegrass Community Foundation. He has also served on the United Way of the Bluegrass’ Campaign Cabinet.
Jacky Wu is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Wu is responsible for all financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, valuations, pricing, treasury, investor relations, and information technology functions. He also has oversight of the long-term financial strategy, capital investment program, and capital markets.
Prior to Driven Brands, Wu was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xura, Inc (formerly Comverse, Inc). There he led efforts to stabilize the company’s financials and significantly improve shareholder return through a series of strategic initiatives which included outsourcing non-strategic functions to Tech Mahindra, sale of non-core billing assets to Amdocs Limited, and acquisition of synergistic telecom messaging software company Acision.
These efforts led to the sale of the company in a take-private transaction to Siris Capital Group at a stock price 50% higher than when he joined the company only 17 months later. Prior to Xura, Wu spent five years at American Tower Corporation where he was Vice President of Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions. During his tenure, American Tower more than doubled its global and domestic asset portfolios, successfully converted to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and strategically partnered with its major customers to long term contracts that helped the company achieve consistent double-digit top-line growth.
Wu has more than 15 years in the Telecommunications industry, beginning his career at Verizon Communications. There he held roles of increasing scope and responsibility, most recently as Director and Chief Financial Officer of Verizon Digital Services Inc. In that role, he helped expand Verizon’s FiOS footprint to more than 18 million homes nationwide, while forming a new $1.5b segment focused on optimizing content delivery.
Wu graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and with Departmental Honors with both a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tulane University. Wu was also the recipient of DiversityMBA magazine’s "Top 100 Executive Leaders under 50" in 2012.
John Teddy is the Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Driven Brands. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s strategic direction regarding B2B growth, category management, and procurement. Previously Teddy served in strategy, finance and operations roles within Take 5 Oil Change. Teddy joined Driven Brands in 2017.
Prior to Driven Brands, Teddy spent eight years at The Home Depot. There he led various teams supporting the company’s growth and performance improvement priorities within Corporate Development, Merchandising, Pro, Rental & Home Services. Additionally, Teddy has held roles in investment banking and strategy, and operations consulting.
Teddy graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor's degree in economics.
Daniel Rivera joined Driven Brands in November 2012 as Chief Information Officer. In 2014 Rivera was named Meineke Brand President. Prior to his current roles, Rivera was the Senior Director of Application Development, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure, and Security at AutoNation. Prior to his role at AutoNation, he worked at some of the largest corporations in the world including GE, Motorola, and Burger King Corporate.
Rivera holds two degrees from Florida International University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering where he graduated Cum Laude. He also holds a Juris Doctorate where he graduated 4th in his class.
Bob Benjamin joined Driven Brands in July 2018 as President of Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting. A proud retired Army Colonel, Benjamin brings 30 years of military experience and nearly two decades of automotive aftermarket industry experience to the Maaco brand.
Prior to joining our team, he served in key operational leadership roles with Sterling Collision Centers, ABRA Collision Centers, Pacific Elite Collision Centers and most recently, Gerber Collision & Glass, where he served as a Regional Vice President.
Benjamin served as a U.S. Army Ranger and in the U.S. Army Reserves for a combined 30 years, having most recently served as a Senior Combat Advisor and Senior Contract Officer in Afghanistan. He holds degrees from Western Illinois University (BA, History), the United States Army War College (MS, Strategic Studies), and Vanderbilt University (MBA, Operations Management).
Gabe Mendoza joined Driven Brands as part of the 1-800-Radiator acquisition in June 2015. He had been with 1-800-Radiator since 2007, serving in numerous management roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and most recently as President. Prior to that, he served as Vice President Finance at Alibris, a leading internet marketplace for used, new, and hard-to-find books, and a “Top 100” online retailer. While at Alibris, Mendoza was responsible for all aspects of the finance and legal functions, including Controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, audit, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
His experience at Alibris includes his substantial involvement in the marketing and sale process for the Company’s acquisition by Oak Hill Capital Partners in the spring of 2006. Prior to joining Alibris, Mendoza was a Corporate Group Controller at United Parcel Service. During his 13 years at UPS, he served in a variety of operations, marketing, reporting, and financial management positions. Mendoza earned a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University (San Francisco).
Michael Macaluso joined Driven Brands in February 2016 as President of CARSTAR North America. Prior to joining the Driven Brands team, Macaluso served in a variety of roles with CARSTAR Canada for nearly a decade, starting as Insurance Relations Manager. He then progressed to Director of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and President before Driven Brands acquired CARSTAR Canada to form CARSTAR North America.
Macaluso was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and attended school at Western University in London, Ontario. He sits on a variety of boards in the Hamilton area and is involved in numerous collision industry councils and initiatives. Macaluso continues to live in Hamilton with his wife, Daniela, and their three sons.
Kyle Marshall joined Driven Brands in 2015 as part of the 1-800 Radiator acquisition and became President of 1-800 Radiator & A/C in 2017. 1-800 Radiator & A/C is an automotive aftermarket parts distribution company with over 200 franchise locations specializing in the on-demand delivery of replacement parts to service and repair centers, and collision shops throughout the United States and Canada.
Over his 17 year career with 1-800 Radiator & A/C, Kyle has held numerous management roles, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he led the development and implementation of key strategies to advance organic sales growth and franchisee profitability.
Marshall was born and raised in Westfield, Massachusetts and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2001. Kyle now lives in Concord, California with his wife Marga and their two children.
Roark Capital Group is an Atlanta-based private equity firm with over $6 billion in equity capital and commitments raised since inception. Roark purchased Driven Brands in 2015.
